What does the centre do?
Through regular check-in with teachers, Aaron’s strengths are highlighted. The development plan will provide Aaron opportunity to interact and encourage other children who can learn from his helpfulness. Just as he extends his innate abilities by helping others, he is allowed to fail and learn from his misstep within a safe and nurturing environment. As his confidence increases, he is also challenged to try new outdoor activities.

What will the outcome look like?
In a nurturing and family-like environment, Aaron learns to interact with peers, to be flexible as he mixes with others who are less organised, he also gains a new level of curiosity and willingness to explore what is outside his comfort zone.

What does the centre do?
Through regular check-in with teachers, Rachel's strengths are highlighted. The development plan will provide Rachel opportunity to interact and encourage other children who can learn from her extrovertedness. As teachers celebrate her innate abilities to play freely, and encourage her sense of adventure, she is allowed to develop her strengths further in leading and cheering others when they struggle.

What will the outcome look like?
Rachel is supported by the culture of affirmation and nurturing guidance and discovers that her outgoing and interest in others can draw out others from their shyness. She has the power to use humour to deflect stressful situations. She can lead people with her likeable personality has natural leadership qualities.

What does the centre do?
Through regular check-in with teachers, Lucas’ strengths are highlighted. The development plan will provide Lucas opportunity to share ideas and invite genuine interest in what he has shared. Teachers to challenge his inquisitive mind with other approaches and encourage Lucas to use persuasion to influence his peers.

What will the outcome look like?
Lucas learns in the course of interacting with his friends to value the contributions that others have to make, to listen with openness and to lead with persuasive ideas.
